Mixing localization settings

Folgende Auswahl bei der Installation der Ubuntu 12er Reihe:

  • "Select a language": English
  • "Select your location": Germany
  • "Configure locales": United States en_US.UTF-8

Ergab beim Installieren verschiedener Programme:

        LC_MONETARY = "de_DE.UTF-8",

        LC_MEASUREMENT = "de_DE.UTF-8",

    are supported and installed on your system.

Lösung:

sudo locale-gen en_US en_US.UTF-8 de_DE.UTF-8
sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales
echo done
